About Human, Mostly

I started Human, Mostly because I wanted to understand people better.

I study psychology because I want to understand why we think and behave the way we do.

I write stories because sometimes an idea is better felt than explained.

And I study remarkable lives because other people can show us what courage, obsession, failure, ambition, discipline, creativity, and meaning look like when they are actually lived.

Human, Mostly is where those three things meet.

The goal is not to tell people what to think.

It is to give them something worth thinking about.
